Local Law 84 is a new energy law often referred to as the
energy benchmarking law. It requires property managers and owners of all New
York City buildings over 50,000 square feet to report the building’s energy
usage to the City on an annual basis.
The only way to cure About NYC Local Law 84 violations is to
pay the associated fine and begin reporting your energy usage to the City by
the required deadline (May 1 of each year).
Usually the recommendation
program will set recommendations for the attorney's who indication up for the
program. They will have to fulfill certain requirements to be detailed there.
This is excellent for you because you want the best available lawyer who is
certified. The program also uses a spinning program so that all attorneys get a
reasonable opportunity to get recommendations. Usually the preliminary
assessment is little and usually the Bar Organization places a highest possible
they can cost.
The law was passed in 2009, and it went into effect on May
1, 2010.
Buildings will receive a violation with fines up to $500 per
quarter. Fines will continue to accrue until an energy benchmarking report is
submitted.
